Couples Therapy

Couples therapy offers a contained space for partners to navigate the complexities of their relationship and understand why some particular fights are unending. Whether you're facing communication challenges, frequent conflicts, infidelity, or feelings of disconnection, our skilled therapists are here to help you understand each other's perspectives or what gets in the way of seeing one another's perspective. We will also gently call attention to behaviors that are non-starters in service of creating the relationship you deserve. We use the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, and psychodynamic and systems theories. Men's Therapy

One of the unique areas of focus at our practice is therapy for men. Therapy is for everyone, however, therapy has been traditionally attended by women. We want to change this pattern by setting ourselves apart as one of the premier places men can go to for a chance to work on themselves.

How is therapy different for men? Research has shown that more active approaches can be helpful while also learning to develop a greater emotional vocabulary and awareness. More importantly, therapists who are informed in men's mental and physical health issues are likely to be knowledgable of how men are uniquely shaped by the world they live in and how they can take action towards better relationships, health and mental well-being.

Online Therapy

Online therapy has been shown to be as effective as in-person therapy while offering convenience. With the flexibility of virtual sessions, you can access professional support from the comfort of your home or wherever you are. Our secure tele-health platform allows you to prioritize your mental health even when proximity, schedule, or travel make in-person appointments difficult. Virtual therapy can be especially beneficial if you work long hours, are a stay-at-home parent, have limited mobility, or simply find it challenging to get to our office.
